If it's I would like to learn how to read these files to solve problems myself if possible. Bios updated myself, obtained form laptop manufacturerĮdit: Uploaded Files as according to posting instructions. If it matters, during Bios installation, I had to update the EC 1st followed by Bios update which had 2 executable files to run. From online searches, the file is related to my kernel? Does this means I installed the Bios wrongly? However it did mention the file name ntoskrnl.exe.
I did try to open up the Dump file, but have no idea on how to read it. The main reason I did a bios update was due to the multiple BSOD I had on my previous Bios. The dump file is attached if anyone can help take a look at it, as its got me worried. The BSOD Error message was: Driver Power State Failure. It occurred during my installation of drivers.
This is my 1st BSOD after I did a Bios update on my laptop, followed by a fresh install of Windows 8 Pro.
